Youth Services
The Full Employment Council serves Young Adults ages 16-24 with by connecting you with education, specialized training, financial aid assistance, and skills training for in-demand careers. These services are available at no cost to you, if you are an eligible youth in the Missouri counties of Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte or Ray counties, including all of Kansas City, Mo.

In many cases, FEC can also help with specialized clothing cost, transportation, and more.
Training is available in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing, Business and Financial, Healthcare, Information Technology, and Logistics and Warehouse.
Eligibility criteria includes income, being a parent or pregnant person under the age of 25, currently or previously incarcerated or alternative sentence by the juvenile or adult justice system, or other factors.

Live in Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte or Ray County and Present with at least one of the following barriers to employment: School dropout, supposed to be in school but did not attend the last calendar quarter (compulsory attendance), subject to the Juvenile or Adult justice system, homeless or runaway, foster child, or aged out of foster system, pregnant or parenting, or an individual with a disability

Or qualify through the COMBAT program as a resident of Jackson County between the ages of 18 - 24 who live in a high crime neighborhood, or currently exhibit signs of delinquency or crime, or receive a referral from a COMBAT-funded victim support agencies who are ex-offenders and/or victims of crimes, ex - drug/alcohol abusers

Or meet income guidelines and present with at least one of the following: Basic skills deficiency, English Language Learner, needs additional assistance to enter the workforce, has below average grades, recently fired from job, previously dropped out of an educational program, significant personal or family problems; limited access to transportation, child of an incarcerated parent, or is placed one gra
